Jura is proud to announce the application of the LetterScreen® feature in the Next Generation US passport series

Jura is proud to announce the application of the LetterScreen® feature in the New Generation US passport series through its partnership with GET Group North America.

Details of the Next Generation US passport have recently been widely published (See Keesing Document Checker or https://www.consilium.europa.eu.)

Though the announcement does not declare the sources of the various features, Jura is pleased to report, that the color secondary (ghost) image built from microtext lines containing redundant data on a personalized wave structure on the second data-page is done by applying Jura’s patented proprietary feature, LetterScreen®.

Jura is widely known in the USA for its high-security design software systems used at various prepress and printing companies in the ID1 (card) segment. Now Jura enthusiastically enters into the personalization of government credentials with this latest US passport series.

The USA is 44th country applying a Jura personalization feature (IPI® and/or LetterScreen®) in a government-issued identity document.
