Exploring the latest technologies and techniques in the design, production, and issuance of banknotes, ePassports, ID cards, visas, and other secure documents across Latin America.
The High Security Printing™ conferences are annual events with a distinct regional focus. They cover government-specified and issued documents such as currency, fiduciary documents, excise stamps, ID cards, ePassports, visas, vehicle documents, and licences. Particular emphasis is placed on banknotes and the emerging technologies for ID and travel documents. Complementing each conference is a trade exhibition featuring 30-40 companies showcasing technologies and systems tailored to these sectors.
High Security Printing™ Asia has been held annually since 2002, with High Security Printing™ EMEA following in 2004.
Latin America, however, is increasingly gaining prominence—not just as an emerging economic powerhouse but also as a growing market for high-security printing within the context of government documents. Many countries in the region are becoming key innovators in the specification, procurement, and distribution of such documents, serving not only their own expanding economies but also the broader region.
Recognizing this significance, Reconnaissance hosted the first-ever High Security Printing™ Latin America conference in July 2012. This event, which has been held annually ever since, addresses the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities faced by specifiers and producers of government documents across the region.
